About the Author
Lauren is married to her husband, Daniel, and has two sons, Rudy (3) and Mark (2). She is a stay-at-home mom, and treasures every minute of it! She loves to take care of her family and her home, and one way she does that is by saving and making money in creative ways. Because of the money she has made by hosting yard sales, she has sent her family on vacations all over the country, helped her husband with the start-up expenses of his new business, and paid for the costs of several home improvement projects! Lauren wrote this book because she wants to help other wives and mothers become good stewards of their home.

Wow! Everyone who has ever thought about or has even had a yard sale should read this book! Written by the "Queen of Yard Sales" herself, Lauren's book is chock full of practical advise and ideas that make the entire yard sale process not only loads of fun but very profitable! Easy to read and makes accomplishing success at "yard selling" a simple, organized money making activity. Can't wait to get started! Thanks for such a great handbook that can used by households across America!
Ok, full disclosure. I know the author. And I really wanted to like her book. But I actually LOVE her book! I am so excited for Lauren... and ME! Our family moved TWO years ago, and for 2 of those two years, my two-car garage has only had the capacity for ONE car. I have thought and talked about having a yard sale. But the fact is, I've done them before, never with much success, and they are exhausting. Now I know why. In chapter form, no less! This fantastic book gives you ALL the tools you could ever need - with appendix, too!- in a very fun, readable format! Truly, I should have been working today, but I couldn't put her book down until the very end! I am energized!!
